Milwaukee Bucks rookie Thon Maker has the potential to be a dangerous threat. The 7-foot-1 phenom out of Sudan has an all-around game—the ball skills of a guard, an accurate outside jump shot and good down-low defense. But even with all of those skills, there could still be issues.

Maker is certainly tall, but he is built like a stick. The Bucks will have to wait for the start of the season to see whether Maker can hang in the paint with other NBA big men. But Maker isn't waiting around to show them. Ever since he was drafted 10th overall, he has been eating outrageous amount of food. In a video recently posted on the Bucks' Twitter account, Maker says he is eating seven times a day to gain weight. He also says his goal is to take in 5,000 calories per day. That's 3,000 more than what is recommended for the average person.

All of this eating has already started to pay off. Before the Draft, Maker was listed at 216 pounds. According to him, he has already added 27 pounds to his skinny frame. The extra weight helped him dominate the NBA Summer League, where he averaged 14 points and nine rebounds. His most impressive performance was a game against the NBA D-League Select team, in which he scored 17 points and hauled down 17 rebounds.
